For you medical terminology-illiterate folks, hypertension is the fancy shmancy word for high blood pressure. I seriously don't know why medical terms are so effing difficult to remember, pronounce, AND spell, but I think its just one way that medical schools filter out the idiots (a.k.a. average people) from the nerds.
